KDE 3.4: multiple hangs at login

I'm running KDE 3.4.0-0pre2 from the Debian packages at alioth.debian.org. I'm having a problem that when I customize some of KDE's settings, both in the control center and in some applications, the next time I log in the login will hang towards the end, somewhere during the "Loading panel" phase.

Hello, my i18n packages depends on 3.4.0-1 which isn't fullfilled right now. The packages on alioth are versioned with preX. Will the 3.4 release go to alioth in the next days or will it be faster (it needs some time for building and uploading) to rebuild i18n? Any plans to upload 3.4 to experime

firefox and kde: saved sessions

I have a Debian/Sid system with both kde and firefox installed. Apparently, the default insallation does not allow for firefox to restart automatically when a saved session of kde is restarted from kdm. Is there a cofiguration parameter I can set to allow this to happen ? Right now firefox is the o
