On my acer aspire one netbook kded4 crashes on each kde start up with the
message :
The application KDE Daemon (kded4) crashed and caused the signal 6 (SIGABRT).
In .xsession there is:
kded(3697) Solid::Control::ManagerBasePrivate::loadBackend: Backend loaded:
"NetworkManager 0.7"

You cannot install kde 4.2 in lenny, you need to use unstable+experimental.

Due to these problems allways is recommeded to include on the sources.list the
Unstable and Experimental repositories, and when you want to instal any
experimental packages, you cab do of the manner that we explained to you:
apt-get install -t experimental package1 , but you´ll allways have deped
