following my kdm login problem I have found that gdm has a group and a
user on my system, but not kdm. Isn't kdm supposed to have one too ?

I've spent the last few days tinkering with KDE4.
It's bad.
But not so bad as to make me drop kde. So I'll just stick and
hope they'll restore the functionality I lost. Which can only be
realized to a certain extent: for example, as bad as it is, qdbus will
never become dcop...
