Is anyone beside me using akonadi-kde-resource-googledata to integrate
KDE contacts and calendars with their Google account? For 4.6.2 I had to
recompile the package as well as libgcal0 in order to make things work.
With 4.6.3 that doesn't help anymore.
For both calendar and contacts resources
Andrej,
thanks for your reply, I have seen that one somewhere before, but this did not
help:
rd@blackbox:~$ gconftool --get /apps/nautilus/preferences/media_automount
false
rd@blackbox:~$
Nautilus is not even installed here:
rd@blackbox:~$ aptitude search nautilus|grep -e ^i
rd@blackbox:~$

Well, I finally got things in working order again by removing
~/.config/akonadi and recreating the respective agents.
Google calendar and contacts resources (akonadi-kde-resource-googledata)
still don't work; both write the same message to ~/
Hello, try this:
gconftool --type Boolean --set /apps/nautilus/preferences/media_automount false

I receive this kind of messages when I mount the pendrive from outside KDE,
I mean, from the command line or from a gnome software, like GIMP.
Hope this helps...
Hello,
I am running squeeze with the KDE version from squeeze. When I try to unmount
an USB device from dolphin, I get
org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.NotMountedByHal: Device to unmount is not in
/media/.hal-mtab so it is not mounted by HAL
I have gvfs installed
blackbox:~# aptitude search
Also, I noticed that the akonadi_* processes are eating memory like mad.
I've just killed a bunch of them at over 1GB (as shown in KDE's System
Monitor).
I've limited these processes to 10% CPU (using cpulimit) and after their
automatic restart, each of them has already consumed 0:20 CPU time

This morning I upgraded to the new 4.6.3 packages as they became available in
unstable. The upgrade itself went smoothly, but when I rebooted and started a
new KDE session, each of the five running Akonadi agents was at 100% CPU. After
some unsuccessful manual attempts at downgrading things, I r

Like I said it's an upgrade from Wheezy (kdm 4:4.4.5-9), not an
experimental or Sid version.
My questions are do
Hi,
I cannot confirm this, upgrading from 4.6.2 to 4.6.3 on a unstable system.
Everything went fine on 32 and 64-bit. No errors at all.
Great work, *many thanks* to debian-kde team.

Hi everyone, I was thrilled this morning to see KDE 4.6 landing in Sid,
great !
When upgrading from Wheezy to the current Sid version I got a
post-install error leaving kdm in a broken state. Looking into it I
found that the "adduser" command from /var/lib/dpkg/info/kdm.postinst
was the culprit, s

Hello,
yesterday Modestas started to upload our KDE SC 4.6.3 packages to unstable. We
recomend to upgrade carefully i.e. pay attention to what apt-
get/aptitude/whatever wants to remove. If you have problems, we recommend you
to
wait until everything is built and available in your local mirror,
