Yes, I can confirm that system is updated, and to be sure, I've executed
a dist-upgrade just now.
Dpkg -l doesn't show any package not upgraded or kept back.

The web page www.latercera.cl presents no problems at all if I use Windows.
With Linux (Konqueror or Opera) though, the machine announces "loading
complete", but the screen remains blank. With all other web pages I have
tried (e. gr. www.quepasa.cl, run by the same firm, copesa.cl)

I recompiled my kernel a week before the trouble started. I did what the
link desribes
I am running sarge with kde 3.1 from sid. My setup was fine before today
but now when kdm runs it restarts the x server, tries again, restarts the x
sever and then gives up.

Kmail starts fine, but when I try to check my mail, I get "cannot start
process pop3".

Kdm manager is open, I start an Kde Session , The X server
crash very quickly at the beginning of the session just after
the view where the mouse appears and the logo of kde3 is on
back end.
The driver type of my Xserver
.geniussystems.net, only kate and konqueror. Instead of the two separate
-dev packages, there's a single kdebase-dev, which was what I needed to
install in order to build kdeaddons.
