I'm having a wierd occurrence with my keyboard keys. First, I'm running sid
with kde 4.4.3-2 with Compiz 0.8.3. I've been running this configuration
(kde + compiz) for a couple of years.

I just upgraded my workstation to 4.4.3, and I ran into a problem where
right clicking on the desktop and clicking Desktop Activity Settings causes

I am running compiz on top of KDE
On my sid box at home, I had an issue which turned my KDE menu topsy turvy.
Note that I am running 32 bit sid on this box. On my 64-bit machine at work,
I haven't seen this behavior.
Originally, the top-level menu categories were similar to the ones on kde
3.5:

Interesting...I don't have alsaconf. According to apt-file, it should be in
alsa-utils, but I even did a reinstall of the package, and it still isn't
there. According to packages.debian.org, it doesn't exist in the alsa-utils
package either.

So it sees the drive. Is it listed in /etc/crypttab? That is what

I'm having an issue with audio playback on kde 4.3. Amarok and JuK say they
are playing, but no sound comes out. I tried audacious, and the audio plays,
but it is very scratchy and plays too fast. mplayer/smplayer/gmplayer play
normally.
