I think this is only available using KDE3, and then only by using KDM as login
manager.
I'm sure someone will correct me.
This is correct. KDE 1 & 2 you must log out of your session then close
down from KDM.
KDE 3 allows you to close down your machine directly via your session.

Are maybe this and other KDE/Debian look and feels going to part of the

Debian KDE 3 release? Other distros have there own default themes, L&F etc.
Getting KDE 3 sorted out and "bug free" is higher priority of cours
it was working prior to KDE 3.0.3
I also tried removing and re-installing it but it still won't launch..
if I try to start it from a shell I get this:
kpackage: error while loading shared libraries: libdb.so.2: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

Try logging in with failsafe and running the pieces from the script, if you
get the same run it

This is really bad. I've tried anything I found on the net including
reinstalling everything that might be related, but nothing helps. I'm
running unstable/testing, and also tried upgrading to KDE 3.0.3, but the
result is exactly the same.
