For
a data cd this is no problem. But for a music cd it is while I would like to
do a direct copy and not decode - encode the music files.
Is there something I should do or is it a bug? I didn't found the bug on
debian bugtracking.
Kind regards.

With system notifications these sounds are not audible. I saw the posibility
to use an external player. Also that didn't work.
Is there an requirement which is not automatically installed?
Thanks for the reply

Hello,
After an update of unstable yesterday Kopete (0.9.1) doesn't produce sound.
Actually the system notifications doesn't make any sound. Probably I should
upgrade some part of KDE (utilities?)

Hello,
Stange behaviour after installing kde 3.1 (thanks Ralf) I had to reinstall
open office for the regular user.
Does it have something to do with kde 3.1 or is it because I changed my
locales.
Maybe this topic is beter in a OO newgroup.

!
I had the same problem. It was because of wrong permissions from several font
files in /usr/X11/lib/X11/font. They weren't accesible for ordinary users.
Only for root.
Check if root kan use the fonts then check the permissions.
