You can manually configure your keys by going to
the KDE control centre. It's how i've done for my laptop also.

I have no issues running KDE 4.2.2 on Squeeze using the Nvidia
185.18.14 driver for my 9600M GT GPU. I suggest upgrading to the latest
driver series for the GeForce 7000 family. They have a lot of KDE4 fixes in
them.

Hi, The slow window drawing problem may be linked to fglrx. Your
chipset is supported by the open source radeon driver (xf86-video-ati). Just
pull in Xorg, mesa, and xf86-video-ati from experimental. Edit the xorg.conf
to make it use "radeon" as the Driver, and enable EXA. The slow window
