I've tried to do a ./configure and I had the errro 'qt-mt not found'.
In the config.log there was a lot of 'undefined reference' to all funtions in
the qt headers... so I've tried with g++-3.0 and 3.2... and no undefined
reference to all function, just to the function used in the test script

When I want comile some Kde apps, I've got a lot of 'undefined reference' (
ex: /usr/X11R6/lib/libkio.so: undefined reference to «

I've had the same problem with qt, that I solved in using as a compiler
g++-2.95, I suppose it is the same problem... but I don't which compiler I
must use.
