Is there any tutorial you have used, where they mention debian
compiz/beryl repositories, kde-based configuration, and so on...?

Worked here also :) but i used 2.3.6-3 because it still lives in the archive
(must be the version for some rare arch).

yep... amd64, btw...
Apart from Kmail crashing a lot while downloading mail, they work
flawlessly :P

The bug when sending attachments through kmail within kontact has been solved
when upgraded everything to 3.5.
BTW, why kde 3.5 still hasn't got a control center module to take care of KDM
theme'ing? It was already made even before 3.4!

from kopete: the buttons are not enabled.

Hi,
i'm having a problem with the amd64 packages provided by mikmak. Kontact
simply explodes whenever i try to send a mail from the kmail part. It doesn't
even show up the backtrace window... From kmail it seems to run fine.
anyone else has had problems with this?

Erm.. In fact i've just reapplied the patch, and again works. So i have two
scenarios:
1) I build the debian source with 'fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us -b'. It
crashes on closing
2) building with the typical "./configure --enable-debug=full; make". It won'

I've downloaded the debian source and reverse-patched the debian diff, and it
doesn't crash on closing anymore...
