I have a different system: Debian SID/Testing with usrmerge, systemd
and bash, and I see the expected behavior: cwd linked to /home/USER.
So I suspect, that it is not caused by KDE/QT.

kde-standard depends on "plasma-pa | kmix".
You need to install the metapackage.

Is apparmor runnig?
I accidently installed apparmor and got the same messages.
After removing apparmor the errors where gone.
