I am new to debian. I originally got potato with gnome and now have KDE2
which is my window of choice.

I used to use mc with kde when I ran suse 6.1.
I want to run mc with kde2.
any ideas???
I have or had a very annoying run app button on the bottom of the big K
menu button. I figured I would right click on the app button and get rid
of it. I zapped the whole kde K button. Can I get it back??? It did not
affect the user account. Is there anyway to
edit that big K button.

I dial in. The modems seem to connect, but then neither lynx or netscape
can locate the start up page.

The local computer store got the ISP script by using hyper-terminal in
windows. (the ISP refused). I have the login,
Now the pppd deamon dies. there is a reference to a www.kde.org/~kppp.html
page which does not exist. and a general error message.

I am on the verge of having a working system. the last kde piece bombed.
I got kppp and installed it. I went to configure it and it would dial but
not make a conection with my ISP. I figured I would go back to pon
(provider) but now that does the same thing. My ISP is a black belt doshead.

I installed debian 3 weeks ago and cannot get kde downloaded. I get a
broken package error message. Without kde linus is useless to me.
is there any place where I can get this?
