FWIW, when I did apt-get upgrade, three packages were not upgraded from
3.1.3-0woody1 - kdebase, kdeprint and kdm.

As if the laptop mouse wern't difficult enough to manipulate! Is there any
way to configure the mouse cursor to be properly visible on a laptop screen
when in I-bar form (as in kmail composer window, shell window etc.)? The
faint grey I is all but invisible.

I know that this has been covered many times.
I'd like to update my KDE 3.0.5a installation. Where do I tell
apt-get to go tomorrow to get hold of a nice desktop ? Can't remember

I tried installing kde3 from Karolina, it didn't install completely and
now kde is broken altogether. Apt-get is hanging on kdebase-audiolibs,
it says it is missing version number in /var/lib/dpkg/status near
line#2500. I can't apt-get -f install or apt-get upgrade or anything.
