I didn't even think of this, but are you using the 2_2_BRANCH of kpilot or
current cvs? The reason I ask, is that (unfortunetly!) the 2.2.2 branch is
completely broken for most people*. The current cvs compiles and runs fine
for both 3.0 and

What about i386 and Kamera ? I'm a photographer. Been looking
forward to using Kamera for six months now. Be a shame if I can't
get hold of it. I'm using Gphoto

Hrm, presumably this is KDE 2.2.2? I know several people build HEAD using gcc
3 (and fix any problems in CVS),
