Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, I don't use pulseaudio.
The problem appears on both new and existing users. So it's something deeper
somewhere.. but what...

Recently I had similar problem. All programs using DBUS were very slow.
Solution was to delete .pulse in my home dir. If this doesn't help try
creating a new user and login as him. If it helps, try to search which part of
your home is causing that.
