Hi,
I tried to use the KDE 4.1 backports repository for Lenny
(http://kde4.debian.net/debian lenny main) but it seems to be unavailable...
Any information about the availability of the KDE 4.1 backports for Lenny ?
Thank you,

What's up? I thought the recovery process was finished after the recent
compromise.

I think, the bug is reported already - 51936
kicker crashed when kweather can not reach the server. I think, this is
what causes the problem: due to bad settings Kweather cannot reach the
server, but kicker crashes that is why the settings could not be changed
- circular error.

I may try to fill bug report - I did not do it before, so it will be

Problem is I that I did not have any chance to change anything - almost
immediately after adding Kweather to kicker it produced error messages
and kicker was frozen - no chance for setting correct ICAO code.
Thanks

Yes I agree Kweather is a toy. I think the problem you are having
with it is the same as I described in an earlier post. The Czech
Republic page for Meteorological Station Information Lookup has many
sites but it seems that the one you chose is not operational.

So you are happy one. I tried Ralf's debs (which are great for me), the
installation went well, but when I added it to kicker, it said that
some site had somwething missing (i do not remember it correctly) and
kicker got stiffed. So I uninstalled Kweather, it is a toy. The main and

Ralf,
Once again thanks very much for your work!!! RC6 installed
well (under KDE RC5)on my woody system except for one or
two -f installs and a dpkg --remove (I believe it was a conflict

kscreensaver.

This is now looking good enough for inclusion with our distros..
Your work has been invaluable..

I have installed Kweather from Ralph Nolden's
debs. I have been running Kweather on kde 3.04, 3.05
3.1 RC5, and now on 3.1 RC6 without problems (other than my
earlier posted problem).
The specific deb file I am using (from my archives) is:
kweather_4%3a3.0.99+cvs20021227-0woody1_i386
For me Kweather keeps crashing, sorry

apt-get upgrade
should give you knetload and kcpuload. They're both from CVS, build as
separete packages and have version 1.99 like their according changelog says.

Ack. I'm reduced to mutt here.
Did apt-get update/upgrade on my potato system a couple of hours ago.
Kdm starts OK, but if I log in I just get the stippled grey background
of the kdm login screen, no kde. Tried moving ~/.kde, didn't help.
Anyone else seeing this?
