I think, the bug is reported already - 51936 kicker crashed when kweather can not reach the server. I think, this is what causes the problem: due to bad settings Kweather cannot reach the server, but kicker crashes that is why the settings could not be changed - circular error. Ack. I'm reduced to mutt here. Did apt-get update/upgrade on my potato system a couple of hours ago. Kdm starts OK, but if I log in I just get the stippled grey background of the kdm login screen, no kde. Tried moving ~/.kde, didn't help. Anyone else seeing this? -- Bud Roge
