Mind boggling. I logged off this box, and back on as another user.
Konqueror works fine with the pluggin.
Logging back off as that user, and back on as the original user, konqueror

I have just updated the system here to the very latest that Sid has to offer.
The shock/flash I had was old, so I removed it and installed the latest 5

Just one more thing: I noticed that background music won't stop even after
changing to another site, only untill I've completely closed konqueror. And
flash documents are very, very slow. But I guess, I can't do anything about

Hi!
I've problems setting up the flash plugin in konqueror.
There was no /usr/lib/netscape directory so created it and also
/usr/lib/netscape/plugins Then I copied these two files (ShockwaveFlash.class
and libflashplayer.so) into that plugin directory and ac

My version of Flash is the same as yours (5.0 r47) and I have copies in the
same directories. However, Flash does not work. So maybe I have to use
Mozilla from now
Nik
I seem to have several copies loosin' around, but they're all the same:
# for i in `locate libflashplayer.so` `locate ShockwaveFlash.class`; do ls -l
$i; done
-rwxr-xr-x1 2791 uucp 947992 15. Okt 21:52
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
-rw-r--r--1 root root 9
I installed not the libqt2-gl package, so this can not be the reason. Anyway
konqui does not crash (as explained on http://www.konqueror.org/faq.html) I
just shows no Flash at all.
Nik
look at the konqueror faq

they seem to say that there is some sort of symbol conflict between flash
