Package: kernel-source-2.4.27
Version: 2.4.27-8
Severity: minor
Hello Debian kernel maintainers,
After unpacking the tarball we end up with a file named ':' in
kernel-source-2.4.27:
% tar jvtf /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.27.tar.bz2 kernel-source-2.4.27/:

Hm, who can decide that is possible such change of initrd-tools.
And if someone knows what to do with current version it will be very
good if start to write something about it.
I didn't think that "searching in bash script to find out what the hell
this tool can do" is good way of documenting

I am installing Debian 3.0r3 on a Panasonic Toughbook

both ide-pci and bf2.4 flavours of the kernel, booting
from a removable DVD drive.
I am having problems when i use the DVD drive
intensively, e.g. using Dselect etc. I get the

I tested the kernel for K6. That solved my problem with syncing the
Palm via ttyS0. Thanks a lot!

Um... that should be bug 287939, not 87939... That is an archived bug
for package noatun regarding a missing icon for "save as..." in
playlist toolbar. Not quite the same. :)

Hello,
I can reproduce this bug with an IBM ThinkPad T23 and an IBM ThinkPad R51.
I am using kernel-image-2.6.10-1-686, version 2.6.10-4.
Kernel 2.6.9 didn't work at all on my IBM ThinkPad T23 (similar bug as I
reported for 2.6.8 in bug #282905). Didn't test on the IBM ThinkPad R51
yet.
Rega
patch bootsplash-rc4-2.6.9 don't work with the last
kernel-source 2.6.9 because is rc5?
wath i can do?
how i can obtain kernel-source 2.6.9 rc4 or 2.6.9-4?
or i can modify the patch for my kernel version? but
it doesn't report me any error!
Thanks
