Hi folks
We said we want to upload to stable more often. As this did not happen,
I schedule the upload of 2.6.18.dfsg.1-14 for sunday.
Missing things:
- Check of 3ware-change.
- Check of intel agp change.
- Check of forcedeth change.
- Check of rfcomm change.
Anything else missing? What is the s
Hi folks
I'd like to schedule the upload of linux-2.6 2.6.22-4 for friday.
There is one thing missing: the linux/types.h fix.

No productive disagreement. It will be included with a changed guard:

Thanks for the tip, I tried 2.6.23-rc3 but it's still the same - with
ACPI I get no DVD device detected, without ACPI it works. I'm attaching
the output from dmesg and lspci both with and without acpi=off.
I have also tried the kernel options suggested in the dmesg output

Hi,
The 2.6.22.5 has been out for a week now and both .4 and .5 have a lot of
fixes.
Any ideas by when can they be seen in the unstable repository ?
The build stats for 22.4 show everything passed.

So nobody had responded to my problem. Probably were busy or had never seen
the issue.
But the issue was true. It happened because multipath-tools was installed on
my box even though I wasn't using it. And when multipath is available,
mkinitrd tries to include it into the initrd image (because my

After lots of help from people on #debian on Freenode, and many dead
ends explored, I found that setting the kernel option acpi=off makes the
kernel (all kernels I've tested so far - 2.6.18, 2.6.21, 2.6.22 and a
custom 2.6.22.5 from kernel.org) detect the DVD. So this works as a
temporary solution.

Is it possible to compile the "Default Linux Capabilies" as module. Now,
it is build in.
Because same virus-scanner and firewalls replace the defaults.
For example AntiVir and TuxGardian.
