There's a known workaround for this bug : Pass i8042.noloop=1 kernel
parameter at boot prompt.
I could not test 2.6.24 as it's affected by #463606 but :

You can try to add either clocksource=tsc or nohz=off to your boot
command line.

Marco has not responded. I wonder if there's someone else who can
implement this? I don't have the time to read up on it and I would
have to learn udev first.

What I'd like to know is, should I be worried? Especially, could there
have been fs corruption or corruption at the md-raid5 layer?
Is this something you see on every reboot?
Installing the new kernel linux-image-2.6.24-1-ixp4xx_2.6.24-4_arm.deb
seems to have fixed the crashing problem. The box has been running through
since Feb. 28 without a crash.
I'm still getting error messages like this about once a day:

Hi,
I'm not really sure all needed package will be fixed for Lenny. Current
xfce4-battery-plugin has a sysfs patch, but it's not really working
flawlessly and upstream is working on a hal-based branch (wich wont be
out before lenny). Other stuff includes acpi/acpitool wich are not using
sysfs

Hi Maximilian
A user has requested that we enable CONFIG_IEEE80211_CRYPT_TKIP for
arm/ixp4xx [1]. Would you like to enable this option in the top config
or should I just do it in config/arm/config.ixp4xx? Seems like it may
be appropriate for the top config.
Thanks.

To confirm that I'm also facing the same issue. I'm wondering if it has
something to do with
- ACPI: update ACPI blacklist
from the changelog. I don't have much time to test it, but will try
as soon as I can.
Relevant log:
