I am successfully running 2.6.31. I recently upgraded to 2.6.32 and the system
does not boot any more. There was a small itch during installation: I was
instructed that firmwares 'iwlagn:

while I was doing so the kernel booted. The explanation is that since
the realtek firmware are missing, the kernel fails to turn on the
