@ Jorge:
yes, i've searched a lot for this particular behaviour and found that almost
the roots that cause this problem are related to xen-kernels , but the
problem is that i don't have xen at all , this is a dedicated server only
running with apache2+php5 with no database backend !

Hi there,
I am currently running linux-image-2.6.32-5-686 and I checked /var/log/kern.log
instead of /var/log/Xorg.0.log for clues after another white screen (I am
pretty tired of testing suspend, because the white screen always happens when I
am right in the middle of work), and here it is.

Hi,
I had a very similar problem after upgrading initramfs-tools from
0.93.4 to 0.94.4.
My system uses LVM2 on top of an encrypted block device. Therefore, I
have to enter a passphrase as soon as the filesystems are to be mounted
during the boot process. But my keyboard wasn't working anymore
[sorry for the noise]
I haven't filed my own bugreport because it's not a big issue for me, ATM.
I'd rather wait the extra minute or so during boot, than change my disk maps
and menus...
I have a very similar dmesg ata1: lost interrupt (Status 0x58) - and the
kernel times out for about (30

So far as I'm aware, there are no remaining blockers for an upload (and
2.6.32-13 cannot transition to testing due to the build failure on
hppa). Therefore I intend to upload on Friday or Saturday. Shout if
