Even in dom0 ?
How could i control my CPU speed then ?

I just tested it. Booting the DVD ISO in qemu took more than 20 minutes to get
to a console prompt. My usual setting is Debian Live on a USB flash drive with
a "live-rw" persistency partition. This setup boots from the USB flash drive

Yes - dom0 has access to most physical devices but *not* physical CPUs.

That would have to be done in the Xen hypervisor, not the dom0 kernel.

Filesystem rebalancing (BTRFS_IOC_BALANCE) affects the entire

if you want to stop people doing bad things by accident, OK, but a
geteuid test won't stop people that want to
I also received a message reportin for this bug on a Panasonic CF-52.
Can I in any way help this bug get more attention?
Just in case, I am at 27C3 now, with my laptop, so if anyone there
wants to directly investigate the issue just let me know.

Hi Andrea,
Your kernel Oops shows a very similar stack trace to the rtl8187 problem
I reported in 2.6.32-5-openvz-amd64 2.6.32-2, which would be followed by

Hi again,
Andrea said the issue wasn't reproducible in "2.6.32-3-amd64". Does
this mean Debian package version 2.6.32-9? (cat /proc/version)
I definitely saw the rtl8187 bug in 2.6.32-21, so I would guess this bug
was introduced in -12 or -10 when most of the changes to rtl818x or
