I'm testing lxc under Debian Wheezy with kernel
linux-image-3.0.0-rc4-amd64(experimental repo)
lxc-version 0.7.3
lxc-checkconfig reports "Cgroup namespace: missing"
lxc-start -n db1 -f /var/lib/lxc/db1/config
lxc-start failed to spawn 'db1'

I have tried to set CONFIG_DRM_RADEON=y (I think you're referring to
this being also mentioned CONFIG_FIRMWARE_IN_KERNEL) configured
CONFIG_EXTRA_FIRMWARE and the path correctly but the kernel hangs again
Hence I'm back to the previous configuration with CONFIG_DRM_RADEON=m
for do other test
