I have two disks, one SSD and one HDD. There are to MD RAID1 volumes
that each use one partition on the SSD and one on the HDD.
After the first reboot with 3.8, MD kicked the HDD's partitions from
both RAID devices. However, there were no
Downgrading to 3.2 makes the issue go away again. So, definitely no
hardware problem.

When reading man 8 initramfs-tools I was wondering whether the shell
spawned due to break=something would be spawned before or after the
corresponding scripts. I suggest to apply the attached patch to clarify
this.

Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Installing and booting with kernel from linux-image-3.8-1-686-pae produces bad
sound, similar as the sound you hear when you press the fast-forward button in
a cd-player.

Hi!
Overriding the RootFS device for the initramfs doesn't seem to
work. Might well also be a bug in initramfs-tools. Setting serious
because it prevents this system from booting, feel free to change.

I don't see anything flash-kernel related here. Is this right after

Actually it's cryptsetup's fault.
I'ts not pristine from the installer. Got dropbear / cryptroot to run
