You should get that from the i915 kernel mode setting driver, not
uvesafb.

I tried to load uvesafb in order to get frame buffer support for the native
1024x600 resolution of my JVC MP-XP731 laptop. So I added uvesafb to
'/etc/initramfs-tools/modules' and ran 'update-initramfs -u `uname -r`'. Then I
