Please, next time: make sure that the files validate before committing. You broke the build (and in the day of Release!). This, and other unrelated last minute changes by some other people prevented the Release Notes (both the english language and other, up to date translations) from being included properly in the CDs/DVDs. (!) For the time being I've disabled the Catalan translation from the Makefile and will not re-enable it until I'm given guarantees that changes in the translation are not going to break the build of the Release Noteas and affect the build of other languages. I'm even considering removing the translation from the Squeeze release webpages altogether. The main reason for this being that the current content there is horribly out of date and, what is worst, users reading it [1] are not aware of this unless they look at the date. The use of po4a in the translation would make this more evident to users. So I really hope Catalan translators migrate the translation to po4a. It should be quite easy to convert the dbk files to po4a based on the Etch branch of the Release Notes, since the translation was complete there IIRC. If you need assistance, please contact debian-doc for help. Regards Javier [1] See, for example http://www.debian.org/releases/squeeze/i386/release-notes/index.ca.html and compare it with another incomplete translation that uses po4a such as this one: http://www.debian.org/releases/squeeze/i386/release-notes/index.nb.html -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-l10n-catalan-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
