I think it is (marginally) DFSG-free as long as the package
in question does not invoke the option to forbid the distribution
of modified versions.

Hi,
I'd like to get a word on the DFSG status of the LPPL. There is a
package in Incoming that uses that license and I'd like to know its
status before I either accept or reject it. (Note that many parts of
tetex are now under LPPL too.)
I've read the archives and there seems to be no consensus
