Consistency check of epochs might be a good idea[1]. Kudos to Jakub
Wilk for suggesting it.

2 months ago, it had an "epochless" version in its shlibs file.

A package that wants to invoke dpkg-maintscript-helper must do
so in each of its preinst, postinst and postrm files. However, I've
noticed several packages that do not use dpkg-maintscript-helper
properly:

your favorite debian mirror, and:
