I build the Package for mailfilter and need a sponsor now to get it into the
Debian Archiv. (Don Kennedy started working on it, he also filed a bug
against wnpp (#101152) but he cancelled working on it (one mailfilter package
is enough :) ).

I would like some advice about closing old (?outdated) bug reports.
I've been going through the old bugs for my packages and found a few so
old they used old libraries etc (e.g from Debian release 1.3).
There are no recent reports about the same problem and the upstream
source has gone throug
Tag the bug with "moreinfo" and/or "unreproducible", ask the people if
they can still reproduce the bugs, give them some time and then close
them. Check "Developers' information regarding the bug processing system"
at bugs.debian.org (the info in doc-debian is out of sync, a bugreport
is filled).

I'm packaging a program for multiple distributions that build-depends on
autoconf 2.50. Obviously I have to patch the configure.in to make the
package build on potato; this isn't a problem. And sid uses autoconf
2.50 by default so it's also not a problem. But I was wondering when I
