Hello, I'm packageing eclipse, which consist of several 'plugins'. eclipse is currently seperated into 8 packages, containing one or more plugins each. Most of the plugins have seperate buildnotes, all in html, but named differently each. This buildnotes state every bugzilla bugfix, which was

What do we do when upstream is more than willing to package the ./debian/ directory officially? It seems this would create a sticky relationship when the DD wants to make additional changes that diverge from the current source? Are there packages that do this already? How do they handle it? Thx

Problems with apt-setup and tasksel/dselect

Hey! I just wanted to install the lastest version of Debian (3.0_r1) The Basic System works just fine. But the apt-setup is giving me a headache. Apt-setup asks for the CD-ROM Drive, which in my case is /dev/hdc. Then i pick all my packets and it gives it on to tasksel/dselect. Then the program
