are you compiling the kernel modules with MODVERSIONS? if so, you can put the modules under /lib/modules/2.4/ and you'll only need to repackage when the modversions checksum changes. however, your packages for 2.4 will conflict with each other. if you'd like them to not conflict, your packages w
