It looks like one of the recent (Thu, October 27 2022 21:24:56 -0400) Bookworm
upgrades broke video playback in the VLC player for me. Was working fine
before. The video (regular MP4 files) seems to be playing (the progress marker

Tried other video players (haruna, smplayer, mpv) and every single one of them
works without issues, so the problem seems to be specific only to vlc.

Can confirm, VLC is working for me again in Bookworm, so indeed the bug has

VLC fails to properly convert mp4 to webm, instead it creates a webm file that
