This JDK works. It fails in ./configure later because xmkmf is missing
on bruckner, I'll poke debian-admin to insta

Is that issue still the holdup for Debian ppc binaries?

OpenOffice 1.1 I have had toolboxes floating around
after activation and not closing themselves after
choosing an item. With floating toolboxes I mean e.g.
