The package requires openoffice.org-core, but this package isn't in the
database. Also the package openoffice.org is absent!

Me too.
I've just upgraded my testing system to OpenOffice.org 2.0 and
installed ooqstart-gnome 0.8.3-10. It frequently (but not always)
gives a crash dialog box during logout.

Hi Dilip,
the libxml in OpenOffice.org cannot be compiled with gcc 4. Install
libxml2-dev and run configure again, but add the --with-system-libxml
option.
