Hi,
Thank you for the reply.
Sorry for my previous confusion about ooimpress and oowriter.
I tried with oowriter too. I removed .openoffice.org2 and restarted
"oowriter Mini\ Raport.odt", the same problem appeared: it entered recovery.
(Maybe a powerpc problem ?)

On opening the attached file, ooimpress starts document recovery.
It's reproducible. I think this document was written on Windows,
while I work in debian/linux.

I use 2.0.1-2 on powerpc and the same bug applies to me.
The PDF export does not show lines with width = 0. Lines with width
greater than 0 *are* printed.
I checked your test file and the line is not exported on my computer.
This bug may be in connection with bug 350019, which hits me too.
Hi,
Execute oowriter /usr/share/myspell/dicts/DicOOo.sxw, choose "Disable
macros" (maybe the other choices don't work either): oowriter crashes
and opens Document Recovery window.
I use 2.0.0-5 on powerpc.

I happened across this bug you filed on a google search. I thought I

it's not a OpenOffice problem but one of the XFree86 font backend. Xtt

I was not too careful reading your message, I thought you asked me to
uninstall msttcorefonts too.
I have just installed msttcorefonts and now it works (the font is
displayed as italic).
Should I use always msttcorefonts fonts ?

In a text document or a presentation document (possible other tools of

as pressed but the text remains unchanged.
Conclusion : one cannot set italic text.
