The following is the final proposal for four changes to the policy
manual. The discussion period will be 10 days, ending after October
4, 1998.
All Section numbers refer to the Policy Manual.

The current revision specifically allows for the symlinks that

As long as all packages then depend on the package providing

Just curious, what will APT's role in slink be? Will it be actively pushed
on the new user (ie included on the base disks) or just be another
optional utility?
It seems to me that almost all the new users of hamm are not using APT but
many of the more experianced us
