Package: debian-policy Version: 3.7.2.2 Severity: wishlist A few packages in the archive are providing sources, but the .deb packages are not rebuild from those sources. That is allowed as there is nothing in the DFSG nor in the debian-policy that prevents a binary package to not be built from the accompanied sources.
I think this should be forbidden for packages in main. This could be added in section 2.2.1. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-xen-amd64 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
