Does Debian PPC (or, for that matter, any flavor of Linux PPC kernel)
support LocalTalk? If not, is there any good reason other than
nobody's bothered to implement it? Have I gone out of list scope and
should ask somewhere else?

Hey,
So after having gotten reiserfs working, I want to move my root
partition over to reiserfs. Apparently yaboot can't yet handle loading
kernels off reiserfs so I need to have my kernels on a separate ext2
partition.
What would the .conf look like for this? I read the man pages but

Ok. So I applied jeffm's endian patch to the reiserfsprogs from
debian, and hand patched the hunk from misc.c that failed.
mkreiserfs runs fine, and after rebooting and choosing the kernel with
the endian

If anyone has working configuration files for these, could you please send
them to me or post them to the list?
Thanks,

I have to ask this question here coz I can't think of anywhere else to
ask it.
After my IMac has been up and running for more than 48 hours I start
to get IDE bus dropouts whilst playing audio CDs. When the CDs get
ejected they are really hot to touch.
I'm not sure if it's my IMac or whether ther

Not really a debian issue, but does anyone else with a 7200 have serious clock
issues? Bascially I'm losing 12 seconds every 10 minutes. Through a stupid
ipchains firewall scripting error i blocked my NTP access on Friday. When I
fixed it earlier today it was off by 443 seconds.

Here's a newbie question.
I have an HFS partition with MacOS 8.5 on it. The /current/powermac
directory is located on the HFS partition as just powermac/. When I select
harddisk as my medium for installation, it prompts me for the partition
where the archive resides (/dev/sda9: HFS is selected
