Hello again, just a couple more questions while I'm at it: I have an iBook2, kernel 2.4.13 and woody and I'm not running X. I get "litter" on the screen, ie characters (or just a pieces of a characters) appear where there really are no characters, and I have to clear it away with ^l. I never

I've been having trouble getting X to run on my Lombard powerbook, and I hope that if I update my install to woody things will get a little easier. I'd be grateful to know what I should change in my sources list to do this. Presumably I then simply run apt-get update and then apt-get dist-upgrade?

Hi! I have some weird problems with my keyboard layout and kde 2.1 from testing. I have a pismo powerbook with a german keyboard, but I use an us keymap (I've used xmodmap to manipulte the keys). This works fine with every windowmanager, but not with kde. The strange thing is: I have the SAME setu
