Yes.
My machine is a first-generation Titanium with an AZERTY keyboard.
400 MHz TiBook, QWERTY.
All is OK now.
I did a
dpkg --clear-avail
and started a fresh source.list and all the dependencies were sorted
out.

It doesn't have to be partition 2 exactly; it must however appear before
any MacOS partitions. You apparently have not read the holy text:

Sometimes, when I release a key after autorepeat, the system doesn't
notice it and autorepeat goes on until I hit another key. This has
already occurred in both emacs (with its own interface under X) and
xterm, never in the console (but I don't use it very much). This can
occur with either keys cor

Great! yes, I see tomcat4 accepts java-virtual-machine-dummy as
satisfying its dependency. Well

Wait...your bootstrap partition is 2? How did you partition your
hard drive? Did you delete ALL the partitions that were in the
original map? I'm no expert by any means, but I do remember clearly
that the first eight or so partitions were taken up by hard disk
drivers. Perhaps that could be re

Wilhelm,
Looks like it worked. It failed trying to startup because it set the
JAVA_HOME in /etc/default/tomcat4 to /usr/local/j2sdk1.4.0 I went in and
changed it to /usr/local/j2sdk1.3.1 and it started.

Hmmm... Okay, it looks like they've changed the name of the java
dependency. java-virtual-machine-dummy provides
java-virtual-machine, but tomcat depends on java2-runtime (among
other choices). and an apt-cache search for java2-runtime reveals
nothing, so I don't know what is up with that.
Wilhem,
Thanks for the reply. I just pulled down the dummy java package but I am
still getting a dependency for Java when I try to pull down tomcat. Any
other ideas?
