Woody on RS/6000 - still no progress

Hi all, I'm still trying to install woody on an IBM RS/6000 7025 F50. I'm booting off the net via BOOTP/TFTP. The console is on a serial port. I still have two problems: 1. The furthest I've got is a very slow - unusable - Debian installer; the console takes half an hour to redraw a screen.

I had also tried that linux.bin file on my PowerMac 8500 and it doesn't work. Try downloading the "benh" kernel image (look in penguinppc.org) or google :-) You must copy it under the same directory of linux.bin. It will apear on the drop down list. It worked for me, but I don't know how to solve

Hey Folks, I got a little bit further than I did yesterday. I think what happened was because I used my own kernel to boot, and the installer program probably requires linux keycodes, it did not understand the keystrokes I was typing. I skipped the keyboard configuration step was able to go on b
