Has any one got AFS server/client sucessfuly working on the powerpc line?

I have been investigating into moving from NFS to AFS and doing some research on the AFS system. I noticed there are only debian binaries for i86 and no current powerpc binaries. I have downloaded the source tar balls and will compile in on my system. I would like to know if there are

Has anybody gotten DVD playback to work on a TiBook? I just can't seem to get it to work, I'm using the dri-trunk radeon drivers on a powerbook G4 rev III. Whenever I try and play a dvd I get a bunch of 'I/O Error:, dev 16:00 (hdc), sector 17364. Do I just have a cranky DVD or something? -Brett
