Hey All,
The lovely keyboard hack that enables you to remap the caps-lock key
to be control on powerbooks stopped working in BenH kernels sometime
after 2.4.16-pre1. I've got a whole series of 2.4.19 kernels and even
though I added the adbhid.c patch it no longer works.
Any ideas what might have

That's lovely! :-)
It would be nice if they released the specs for hardware
decompression of DVDs, but I don't know if their support would
go as far as that. :-)

I'd like to create a CD-R disc that is bootable on my iBook laptop.
I am familiar with creating Linux-based bootable CD-Rs for the x86
architecture, but can't seem to find a real good reference documenting
how to do the same for a (New World) Macintosh.
Could the folks that author the Debian PPC C

Several times, I have left my laptop in its bag for one or two
days. It was sleeping. Before powering it up, I have plugged the AC
cordline and then opened it. I though I was l

Same problem here, although my ibook even goe
I see similiar behavior on my ibook2. When the battery gets down around
25% the machine says the battery is critically low, and shuts down.
Maybe the battery gives inconsistent power when it's nearly drained?

I am getting a laptop for x-mas and I want one I'd like to put linux on.
Do you think that sleep support is coming soon? If not,
how important is the sleep to the machine? Basically what I am asking is
would you buy this laptop knowing what you know now. Thanks.

What machine? How old (the battery might be almost dead)?
hi
I'm getting a strange behavior from power resource monitors.
Pmud shuts down the machine when the power indicator is
still greater than 20%. The strange thing is that when you
reboot under ac you see the battery is charging from 0%.
Found nothing on the net, someone has the same problem?
