Debugger break on busy system

Sometimes when my 8500 is particularly busy with SCSI disk I/O in some ext2 filesystems, the system drops into the kmon debugger. I'm afraid I don't know where it breaks because I don't have a debug build and I'm not yet very hip to how to use kmon. This is with 2.4.19 plus the powerpc patch.

Hello, My iBook2's Radeon M6 handles 3D acceleration perfectly (thanks, Mr. Dänzer!), but not 2D. I'm curious if there's something I can fiddle with in XF86Config-4 to try and coax 2D acceleration out of my machine -- it'd make mozilla-xft much faster! Thanks for your time, Mark
