2.5 kernel sources?

updated kernel problem

2003-06-20 Thread Joss Winn
Hi, Has anyone else noticed that an upgrade of apt sources on 19/06/03 introduced a new kernel vmlinuz-2.4.20-powerpc. This doesn't boot on my ppc sid system and the only way I could think of to make my iMac bootable was to start from the install CDs and install the 2.4.18 kernel. The new kernel

Hey Matt, I've been using 2.4.20 and 2.4.21 from a kernel.org mirror to be able to use my external firewire drive. I'm not sure of the fundamental diffs, between them, but I think you want the OHCI, instead of the PCILynx 1394 driver. I'm not sure, but I seem to have a dim memory about Apple's 13
