and found a few issues. To keep life interesting, we also used a 2.6
kernel.
1. Installer requires devfs support. In 2.6 devfs is pretty much
deprecated, so it would be nice if d-i could handle a non devfs kernel.

I have prepared a new version of the powerpc kernel packages (2.4.22-3).
Again, they are still hold up in NEW, until a ftp-master deigns to find

In any case, what is extremely ridiculous is that for many stupid
things like fans, thermal control or microphone/sound, they have *nix
stuff programmed, BUT they still don't release it under the GPL, so you
need a really good bunch of gurus to hack the stuff up.

No problem with quik boots fine.
But I miss CONFIG_HIGHMEM to support all ram and the dri module for the

And I can not print with cups. Dont know why there are no errors in the
logs. The system feels really slow

I, too, cannot print from cups anymore and don't have a clue why - no
log messages help - but I'm using 2.4.20-benh1...
