Hello,
I would like to request some help from someone owning a pmac, to

Hello,
I have some questions concerning the kernel and its devfs usage.
If i understand correctly, all kernels used for debian-installer should
have the devfs built, but not the devfs-automount stuff loaded.
My understanding was that when doing that, and booting the kernel with

Unfortunately devfs is a broken POS, so in 2.4 it has quite a lot..
The problem is that i am running the powerpc kernel

Hello,
On my Pegasos/CHRP box, i noticed that not setting the CONFIG_RTC option
in the Character device part of the configuration (not to be confused with
the CONFIG_GENERIC_RTC and CONFIG_PPC_RTC options in the General setup
part) will cause some strange delay when setting the hardware clock on

Hello,
I am closing this bug report.
The submitter did not reply to my call for further information, and this
is something affecting the potato or woody boot-floppies and 2.2 kernels
anyway.
I asked for feedback on this one on october 6, more than two month ago,
and got no replies except spams.

Hi folks,
i've got a little problem here, i want to install debian on an Umax Apus
but the problem starts just at the beginning, because of the firmware,
and so i cant choose an install media.
Is there anyone who expirenced with this hardware, and tell me what to

Hi all,
today I rsync'd from linux-2.4-benh and I tried to compile the kernel. I

Hi,
I've recently installed debian sid in my iMac DV+. Everything was fine

Hmm... Probably it's coincidence, because I can't get to 800x600 nor
640x480 with Ctrl Alt +.
I'm not near my mac now (i'm at work), but I remember X rejected 800x600

XF86Config-4...

Hi Guys
Thought I'd try this out here as I can't seem to get an answer from
d-u. It may be a problem peculiar to powerpc (the ppc version may
be broken in sid)
