Xorg 7.0.0 failing on powermac G3

I am not subscribed to this list, please always CC me. X worked on this machine until I added an ethernet card. Seems X wants to use the I/O ports for the ethernet card and not for the ATI card. I don't have the Xorg log for when it worked. Apparently, it does not matter which type of ethernet

reopen 389017 This bug was closed without solution. Please note that with the OP's "ATI Technologies, Inc. RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10" it indeed should be possible to use the UseFBDev in xorg.conf if using a version of xserver-xorg-video-ati other than the one that now seems to be broken
